Absolutely horrible school. They treat their staff so poorly and teach no evidence based practices. Several employees have quit and are seeking legal action.

The River School is an incredible place that has been life-changing for our family. After our youngest son was diagnosed with hearing loss at 2.5 years, we found The River School. Terrible, albeit school that actively shames the use of ASL.

Wonderful school with excellent teacher to student ratio. The teachers are excellent with at least one graduate level educator and one speech language pathologist in each class. The tuition is high but there are scholarships available.
