I've had my ups and downs with Waukesha North over the past 4 years. I've made some great connections with the teachers and some of the other students. The administration and counselors have been a slight struggle to work with and the building itself is very small and confined. Overall I'd give Waukesha North an average rating.

I have went to North high school from sophomore to senior year. I like this school because the education system is nice since it's out in the suburbs compared to a lot of the Milwaukee school systems I've been in. What I don't like about North is the sports coaches and the favoritism towards certain athletes. Also, a lot of the students can be disruptive in class, particularly underclassmen. Overall it's a great experience as I've met tons of new friends and have excelled in advancing my education.

The marching band basically held the school together. Quite a few students were involved in band, even more than kids in football. We had some clubs, but none had funding from the school, that was up to the student really. We just didn't have a lot of groups that really interested people.

Small town feel high school experience. Great class sizes and engaging activities for students, with most becoming involved in both the school activities and others around the wonderful surrounding community. I'm a parent and this school is a big disappointment my son hates it and nothing is being done to fix the issues and the school district supervisor isn't any better im so upset and frustrated im moving from waukesha just so I can put my child into a different school

North offers strong leadership to ensure academic readiness for the future. There is also a strong rec program matched with great coaches who really care. I graduated in 1984. Our son went there in 2014 and the ipads ruined his experience. Boys get sidetracked easily, and when the kids are allowed to play games in Algebra class they usually don't succeed. Colleges weren't pushed on the students.
