GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Westbrook High is a pretty good high school with teachers who care about every student's situation and well-being

The high school building needs to change and be updated. We just built a new middle school and really need a new high school. I enjoyed playing sports and glad they changed the grading structure.

Going to Westbrook almost my entire life I really got to see the ins and outs of the school system. The teachers cared little to none about the students and lacked any sort of compassion. The students were terrible to each other creating an awful enviroment for learning. The new grading system is setting you up for failure and promotes laziness. The whole enviroment is depressing and almost pushes you to not try and fail completely.

I don't feel safe in this school still, They don't try to stop anything, I was harassed almost every day last year, and they told me to get over it, Its no big deal. I was threatened, teachers always laughed at me because of my anxiety, and my ADHD. Not a good school. The only good thing is the musi...

Overall, my experience has been pretty normal. There aren't any teachers I strongly dislike, and I have not been put at a disadvantage so far. With that, I would say I am a motivated student who cares about my academics and I mind my business. Having a mindset like this will make the overall experie...

Absolutely horrible! My youngest was bullied and harassed by students and staff at the high school. He ended up depressed and suicidal. I’ve had doors shut in my face. We have been miss treated every step of the way! If the school would only stop and listen instead of thinking of the next response t...
