Our daughter attended the G&T program at PS209 since kindergarten (shout out to our beloved Mrs. Pfeiffer!) and she is currently in 5th grade. PS209 is like family and she (we) always felt welcomed. I have had 3 children attend this school and have had a great experience throughout our time. The teachers are well trained, the lessons organized and hold the children’s interest. I have found the principal and assistant principal to be extremely dedicated and responsive.

The teachers are hit or miss at this school. Some are just lazy and will give the students busy work. Some are great but will give them work that are not age appropriate.
