East Ridge is a great school. The best part for me was experiencing being under the Friday night lights. As for the worst part probably is the lack of school spirit.

As far as academics and teachers I had little issues, there were a couple of teachers that pushed their views a little much but I also had really great teachers while I was there. However, the students are often very opinionated and can come off really rude and it can be a little much for someone with anxiety or who is more introverted.

The coursework is very demanding and competitive compared to other schools. certain areas are insufficiently funded however, resulting in a less than adequate experience. the diversity in electives is one of the schools strong points with varieties in the medical field, machines, social sciences, home ec, tech, theatre, and many more. the student social life is highly dependent on the individual but the school is not a very open space for introverts and people aren't very welcoming.

Our daughter is attending and has found a good mix of academic, social, and sport activities. Beautiful grounds and facilities. Strong AP and Honors programs. Dedicated and engaged parent community.

The special education department struggles to do what is right for the child by hiding things from parents. They are controlled by lawyers which our tax dollars pay for. unfortunately, we know from experience.

Absolutely horrible. I could go on and on about all of the stuff me and so many other people have been through with this school but I won’t all I have to say is do not send your child here.
