GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My time at Woodland High School was good overall and I feel like I was decently prepared for college. Most of the teachers I had were excellent and wanted to see students succeed. However, I feel that students were able to get away with a lot in terms of not following rules and not facing consequences.

Woodland High school is a very welcoming school to all ages. I have loved going there for the four years I have attended. The teachers and staff are all very nice to students and are willing to help anybody with any problems they may have going on. I have always felt safe and secure going to this school. I personally haven't had any problems with any experiences at this school. I have always felt welcomed and wanted in this district. I usually want to go to school everyday because I know that I will be respected by everybody.

Overall, I think the teachers are very engaging. There are lots of clubs and sports available fore students, and I personally have had a great experience in class and in clubs. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because of a few school wide policies that I disagree with, but I understand that most of them are because of State legislation and not individual school board decision making.

This high school is no longer the fine school it once was. I will say that the vice principal and some of the teachers are very good. Very political school and those that are "favored" for sports, etc. are allowed to get away with things others are not. Several attempts to address issues with princi...
