Refreshing Drink Recipes with Lemonade

Whether you’re a kid or an adult, there’s something special about a glass of ice cold lemonade! Plus, who doesn’t have fond memories of manning their own lemonade stand back in the day? Tart, sweet and sometimes even PINK, lemonade is a perfect summertime treat.

Enjoy the last warm days of summer with these refreshing twists on an old classic.

Strawberry-Lemonade Thyme Ice Cubes

Spice up a boring glass of H20 with a flavorful, homemade ice cube.


Makes 12 ice cubes

  • 1 lb. strawberries, macerated
  • 1/2 cup thawed lemonade concentrate
  • Sprigs of thyme
  • 1 ice cube tray

Combine macerated strawberries (chunky is okay) with lemonade concentrate and pour into ice cube trays. Top with thyme sprigs. Freeze and serve with sparkling or regular water!

Spiked Lemonade Slushy

This slushy treat is reminiscent of a daiquiri and it’s delicious with or without alcohol!


Makes 1 drink

  • 1/2 cup slightly thawed lemonade concentrate
  • 2 cups ice
  • 1 oz. vodka

Blend ice and lemonade concentrate until slushy. Add vodka if desired. Enjoy by the pool!

Pink Lemonade Mini Pies with a Graham Cracker Crust

With a lovely hint of pink, these pink lemonade pies require no baking are a delicious miniature treat! You can easily make them into full sized pies if you’d prefer.


Makes 12 mini pies (or 2 large ones)

  • 1 8oz. container of whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup pink lemonade concentrate, thawed
  • 12 store-bought graham cracker crusts
  • Lemon zest

Mix together cool whip, sweetened condensed milk and pink lemonade concentrate and spoon into graham cracker shells. Chill for 1-2 hours or until filling is set. If you’d like, garnish with more whipped topping and lemon zest.


So if you’re sitting on the front porch watching summer go by, be sure to have some lemonade – in any of these delicious forms!
