Joe Jonas May Be Leaving His LA Home, but His Designer Legacy Will Live On

As of last Saturday, the actor-singer of DNCE and the Jonas Brothers has put his Sherman Oaks farmhouse on the market for $4,250,000. The four bedroom, six bathroom estate is just one of many luxury homes that Jonas has bought, flipped, and sold in the past few years.

Currently, the home is listed by Carl Gambino, Jonas’ long time real estate agent. Gambino told People Magazine that the middle Jonas Brother is a bit of a real estate aficionado who often buys and sells homes for investment purposes.

The home sits on an extra wide lot that stretches over 200 sq. feet in depth. The home itself is 5600 square feet of modern farmhouse luxury with beautiful, airy windows; hardwood floors; and plenty of room to entertain. Read on for a look around the property.

This Modern Farmhouse Is an Entertainer’s Haven

The open floor plan lends itself to the idea of star-studded parties and luxury family get-togethers. The large home has plenty of room to host, and the property also features a separate guest house with a bathroom and shower. Off the formal dining room, you’ll find an expansive patio that looks out over the lush landscape, the extra-long pool, and the bubbling jacuzzi.

The wet bar and movie screening room make it that much easier to picture hosting a huge party in this farmhouse mansion. A guitar on display in the den, along with a grand piano, give a nod to the past owner’s career in show business.

Picture yourself entertaining your guests with some tunes on the piano in the den, or pouring some special homemade cocktails at the wet bar, and you’ll be sold on this entertainer’s dream house in no time at all.

Designer Details Give This Farmhouse a Modern Appeal

While the house is definitely farmhouse style with large custom barn doors and lots of fire places throughout, there are plenty of modern features that up the elegance factor. The chef’s kitchen is complete with calcutta slabs, sleek black cabinets, gold Waterwork fixtures, and Wolf and Subzero appliances.

A vintage butler’s pantry acts as a hallway connecting the formal dining room with the modern eat-in kitchen. The master suite includes a fireplace, a sitting room, and an expansive walk-in closet. The master bathroom includes a gorgeous black soaking tub and a steam shower, with subway tile throughout that gives the space an elegant feel.

Jonas’s Realtor Carl Gambino confided in People Magazine, “It’s no secret that Joe is a design buff and this home stands out because of the attention to detail that was placed in the selection of every single feature, piece of furniture and art.” For example, one bathroom is painted deep purple and decorated with art deco finishes and artwork. The unique room is just one asset that sets this home apart from others in the star-studded neighborhood.

Jonas purchased the home in 2016, the year that the home was built. After perfecting the interior design for two years, he’s ready to sell—which means that this perfectly modern farmhouse could now be yours. Located in one of the most luxurious neighborhoods in or around Los Angeles, this expansive estate is a rare find.

After years as a child star, Jonas started his own band, DNCE in 2015. The band released a new album, People to People, in June 2018. Joe Jonas has also recently become engaged to his girlfriend Sophie Turner. With all of these changes in his life, it’s no wonder that Joe Jonas would want to sell his home and start fresh with his new fiancée.
