Game of Thrones™ Houses: Arya and Sansa Stark

A girl may have no name, but she certainly has a place to live. If you fancy yourself a fan of HBO’s hit series, Game of Thrones, you’re going to love how we imagined pivotal character’s dream home must-haves, nice-to-haves, house style, and even decor. Yes, we went there. Not that we’re not huge fans or anything.

Arya Stark

Arya may be the youngest daughter of Ned and Catelyn Stark, but don’t let her age fool you; she is a trained assassin ready to take out anyone who stands in the way of her return to Winterfell. For most of the show, Arya has been on the road, so it’s only fitting that her dream home reflects that lifestyle, a tiny home meant to be pulled behind a truck so she can go where her next “target” or adventure takes her.

Arya needs to blend into her surroundings so she can surprise her enemies, so choosing a home and truck with a neutral color palette is key. But of course, a girl cannot survive on the bare necessities alone; she needs plenty of clever storage for her assorted disguises and weapons. We would be remiss not to mention the need for a few hidden doors or compartments for quick escapes, just in case she gets ambushed.

Sansa Stark

Sweet, fiery, and one to be reckoned with, Sansa Stark is ready to settle down and find a place to call her own after years of adventure and misadventure. Sansa makes no bones about it–she’s a high-born girl privy to the finest things in life, so her new home must live up to her expectations. Price is no issue so a  Brownstone-style home with a multi-million dollar price point would be perfect for her.

Sansa’s Brownstone should have at least three bedrooms to receive guests like her siblings or foreign dignitaries, plus a master suite fit for a queen. No ordinary view will do for Sansa; only a park overlook will be acceptable. Of course, a lady has other needs like a dedicated vanity room, a wine cellar, and a walk-in closet that any royal girl would be jealous of.

Don’t forget to tune in on April 14 for the epic season eight premiere of HBO’s Game of Thrones. It’s the final season, and we can’t wait to see what adventures and misadventures our favorite characters get into one last time!
