Stranger Homes: Dustin Henderson and Steve Harrington

The long-awaited third season of “Stranger Things” is approaching quickly upon us, but it somehow still feels like an eternity (or parallel universe) away. With a July 4th premiere date, binge-watching the show to refresh our minds on what exactly happened in the city of Hawkins a year and a half ago is a top priority on our agenda.

We combined our “Stranger Things” and home search expertise to help the kids (and their “dad”, Steve) find their perfect home with Homes.com Match. And while a “House Hunters” and “Stranger Things” crossover may not be in the near future, it’s never too early to start planning a Must-Haves and Nice-to-Haves list.

Perfectly-Paired Roommates

In season two, we saw Dustin and Steve come together like never before. After employing Steve’s help to manage the once beloved Dart, Dustin became the little brother Steve never had. Ever since that day, Steve became the mentor to the Stranger Things squad we didn’t know we needed. But, what does that “bromance” mean for them in the future? Well, we can’t imagine a world with Dustin but not Steve, and vice versa. We imagine when the time comes for them to start the home buying journey, Dustin and Steve would be two perfectly-paired roommates.

It’s no question the two boys would need a lofted apartment suitable to be a bachelor pad for years to come. With natural wood flooring and brick walls throughout the apartment, the industrial loft will be the perfect place to call home. Although they won’t be staying in Hawkins, they won’t be too far from home with an apartment near downtown Indianapolis, Indiana. Steve cares most about having a parking garage to protect his vintage BMW from the city streets but also is interested in a built-in vanity with plenty of storage for all of his hair care needs. Dustin is focusing on finding a three-bedroom apartment; one for him, Steve, and any strange-creatures that find their way into his trashcan again. But, he also would love to have an apartment with a huge walk-in closet to store all of his graphic tees (like this fan-favorite one, here).
