Marrying a prince? No big deal. Abdicating from the Royal Family? Apparently that’s also not a big deal. Just yesterday, the Queen made a statement regarding Harry and Meghan’s recent bid to leave the palace behind and start a new life as normal citizens (yes, we use the term normal loosely). While this is huge news, which people have even dubbed ‘Megxit’, we can’t help but wonder where the couple will choose to raise Archie.
Think it might be too much? We’ve rounded up a few other listings that might be great second choices. After all, a Duchess, abdicated or not, needs her options.
1. Similar to Meghan’s L.A. Home
This Vancouver home has a similar style to Meghan’s pre-royal home in Los Angeles that went up for sale in 2019. With a few more modern touches, and a ton of extra space, it could be the perfect place for Meghan and Harry to raise baby Archie without all the frills of the palace above.
2. A Home in Windsor, California
After spending so many years together in Windsor, England, maybe Meghan and Harry aren’t as prepared to leave a city called Windsor behind. Windsor Hills, a neighborhood in California where Meghan’s mother, Doria, had previously lived, could be the family-centric neighborhood they’ve been looking for all along. With this modern, private house that’s for sale at less than $1 million, it could be a hidden token for their home shopping list.
