Justin Q. Williams is showing you just how easy redesigning your living room into a mid-century modern retreat can be… all for under $2,000.

If you consider yourself a lover of mid-century modern pieces, you’re loving to love the room Justin Q. Williams designed for our challenge that’s filled with rich colors and pieces you didn’t know you needed. Justin is a professional interior designer, being the founder and owner of Atlanta-based Trademark Design Co. The best part? We’re going to give two people the chance to win a $250 IKEA gift card to refresh your living room. Read on to find out how to win.

First, let’s talk about the wood feature wall, which also pulls double duty as the DIY project that’s easy as pie. Sourced from Wayfair, all you need to do is measure, cut, glue and viola, you have an instant conversation piece. We’d be remiss to not talk about the stunning emerald couch, also from Wayfair. Justin chose this piece because “green is his favorite color… it adds an element of luxury and contrasts well with the espresso wood [accent] wall.”

The flanked artwork increases the moodiness of the space while the gorgeous cognac accent chair and other camel-colored accents help to ground the space while keeping the luxurious feeling. To keep the space modern and clean, Justin chose simple white drapery from IKEA.

Don’t worry, this space isn’t all modern and luxe, Justin hid elements of fun in every nook and cranny, starting with the accent pillows with those oh-so-trendy printed faces. The lamps help to carry white from the curtains, but the base is anything but plain with the hammered metallic look.

Justin truly worked his magic and sourced pieces from around the internet to create this absolutely stunning room! We gave him a $2,000 budget to play with, and he delivered, spending $1,951.95!
