A small suburb near well-rated Beaufort County schools
Pine Ridge is a small suburb from the early 21st century located just across the street from the Bluffton Schools Campus. "You could pretty much throw a stone and hit the schools from here," says broker Maria Skrip of RE/MAX Dream. Skrip is a Bluffton resident and has sold homes across the region since 2010. Niche rated the schools as some of the best in Beaufort County. And Pine Ridge's lower housing prices are a major draw. "Pine Ridge is perfect for families that are just starting out," Skrip says, "I sell a lot of homes over here because of how affordable they are." Skrip emphasizes the community's family-oriented nature. "A lot of families with children are here, especially because of how close the schools are," Skrip says. "You're going to see kids on bikes or out playing basketball."
