Midcentury and Traditional designs
With the heaviest construction beginning in the 1980s, Brookside Colony’s houses are more contemporary than those in nearby communities like Kendale or Olentangy Commons. Midcentury-inspired split levels and ranch styles dot the streets on quarter- and eighth-acre lots. Traditional designs from the early 21st century also crop up, with amenities like bay windows and vaulted ceilings. Prices range from the mid-$300,000s to the low $500,000s, usually based on size and location. “They’re more affordable while still being in a great neighborhood,” says a Realtor with Keller Williams Consultants, John Brunner.
