A Merced neighborhood with growing retail and convenience to highways

There are over 10 motels and hotels that cater towards Yosemite National Park tourists in Southeast Merced. “The hotels are the highlight, and there are a few restaurants that are getting more people to frequent the area. It’s getting better,” says Realtor Norma Lopez, who works with Keller Williams Property Team and has over a decade of experience in the area. The neighborhood is conveniently situated on state Route 99 and the Central Yosemite Highway, which goes to the famous national park. The tourism doesn't add too much rush hour traffic to the neighborhood, but there are travelers at the area's increasing dining options. The new Gateway Marketplace is a growing retail center with fast food options aimed towards tourists that residents can also enjoy.
