Midcentury ranch-style and split-level homes feature recent updates
Most Deer Ridge houses are midcentury ranch-styles or split-levels, with three to five bedrooms and 2,000 to 3,000 square feet of living space. Lot sizes are generous, typically measuring a quarter to a third of an acre, with mature trees and neatly manicured lawns. Many properties also have attached garages and paved driveways. Although most homes are over 50 years old, a lot of them have been updated with new windows and roofs or remodeled kitchens. “You can find homes that are still original that you can put your own stamp on in that community,” says Sarah Maier Pavel, a Realtor with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate who has 15 years of experience selling in the area.
