Located 9 miles from downtown San Jose, Country Lane is a tree-filled suburb known for its proximity to highly rated schools, Westgate Center shopping mall and Apple’s headquarters. “No matter what direction you go, you’re in a beautiful area with a lot to do,” says Jessica Mills, a Realtor with Intero Real Estate Services, Inc. “It feels like you’re in your own little world. It’s calm. Everybody loves their neighbors, and it’s very family oriented.” The overall CAP Index Crime Score is 3 out of 10, lower than the national average of 4. Prices typically range from $1.5 million to $3.8 million, depending on size and renovation status. Three-bedroom townhouses are also available in the neighborhood’s southeast; these can cost between $1.4 million and 1.5 million, plus $360 in monthly homeowners association fees that cover landscaping and pool maintenance.
