Located minutes away from scenic Lake Washington and many of Seattle’s historic neighborhoods, this community features long stretches of residential streets with plenty of outdoor areas peppered throughout. Craftsmans, midcentury ramblers and modern town houses
You’ll find many homes that date back to the 1920s and earlier, including classic Craftsman homes that are typically priced in the $900,000 range with spacious front porches that are perfect for a morning cup of coffee. Midcentury ramblers often come with enclosed garages, with yards that are usually fenced in for additional privacy. There are also many town houses throughout the neighborhood, many of which come with modern interior features and spacious floor plans.
Cuisine options close by and it's not far to Madrona and Capitol Hill
There are plenty of cuisine options, whether you’re enjoying tasty soul food at Communion or trying a limited release beer at Metier Brewing Company. Park recreation, a community pool and nearby lake beaches
On the southern end of Mann, you’ll find Garfield Playfield, a hub for outdoor activities that includes athletic courts and fields, a tennis court and a playground that children can spend hours on. Children and adults can take swimming classes or just cool off on a hot day at the Medgar Evers Pool located next to the playfield. For a quick outing, there are several pocket parks throughout the neighborhood, including Plum Tree Park and Homer Harris Park. Of course, if you want a beach day, you’re just minutes away from the shores of Lake Washington. There are several beaches along the shoreline that are close by, including Madrona Park and Denny Blaine Park.
The area's public schools include Madrona Elementary, dating to 1890
