Mesa Linda’s deep suburban tracts pair with expansive views of the surrounding desert, giving homebuyers a rural feel without sacrificing suburban amenities. Mesa Linda's residential landscape comprises single-family houses set along quiet suburban streets and cul-de-sacs. Developers built most residences within the last 30 years and heavily favored the Spanish Revival style. Spacious floor plans, patios, driveways, two-car garages and landscaped yards are common amenities in the neighborhood, and many homes are a short bike or car ride from the area's quality public schools and parks. Adelanto High’s brand-new campus

Mesa Linda residents are served by the Adelanto Elementary School District and Victor Valley Union High School District. Students have a variety of primary schools in the community to kick off their academic career, like Theodore Vick Elementary, rated C-minus on Niche. They can then move on to a middle school, such as Columbia Middle, rated C-minus on Niche, or go to the local magnet school, University Preparatory School, which instructs grades 7 through 12 and has an A rating. For high school, students may attend Adelanto High, which is rated B-minus. This high school is one of California's newest and largest school campuses, complete with lighted baseball and football fields, tennis and swimming facilities and a field of solar panels providing clean energy to the grounds.

The Crossroads and Adelanto Marketplace

Two major shopping centers are in Mesa Linda: The Crossroads and Adelanto Marketplace. Conveniently, these shopping hubs are across the street from each other on U.S. 395, so when folks need to get gas, grab a bite to eat or make a grocery run, this area is where they’ll head. U.S. 395 and CA 18

Mesa Linda residents are treated to spectacular desert views along with breathtaking night skies, all in proximity to major freeways. Two main thoroughfares run through the area. U.S. Highway 395 runs from north to south, while CA Route 18 goes from east to west. Access to Interstate 15 is nearby as well, making the 43-mile drive to downtown San Bernardino easy to get started on. Mesa Linda is a car-dependent area. That said, Victor Valley Transit bus stops can be found around the neighborhood on more trafficked roads like Hook Boulevard and Mojave Drive.
