An old-school Central LA neighborhood
Jefferson Park, one of the best-preserved historic neighborhoods in central LA, today combines cultures and communities for a modern mix. The location is characterized by compact residential streets where homes feature small lawns, hedges or flowering plants. “Jefferson Park has more than just historic homes,” says Realtor Jose Prats of Christie’s AKG, who has lived and worked in the area for over a decade. “The local dining and nightlife scene, which centers around nearby West Adams, has seen a dramatic revitalization over the last few years. It’s also a very convenient neighborhood for commuting: you’ve got the interstate to the north and the E Line to the south connecting directly to Downtown.”
Many homes in Jefferson Park have been renovated and updated in recent years.
