The most recent real estate agent hired by Houlihan Lawrence in New York is a very familiar face.
The brokerage that focuses on selling properties in New York City's northern suburbs rehired Vincent Caiola, the company said recently. Caiola returns after spending less than a year working at Howard Hanna Rand Realty. He spent more than six years previously working for Houlihan Lawrence and had a brief stint with Keller Williams.
Caiola, a former international flight attendant, will work from Houlihan Lawrence's White Plains office, the brokerage said.
Houlihan Lawrence is happy about Caiola's return because "he brings a strong commitment to his clients and community," Geoff Berry, the brokerage's White Plains manager, said in a statement.
Caiola is an agent licensed to sell in New York and Connecticut and has more than $15 million in career real estate sales, the brokerage said. The West Harrison resident and former New York City paramedic is among the top 1.5% of real estate agents in the nation, Houlihan Lawrence said. Caiola was named a rising real estate agent star by Forbes magazine in 2023 and among the top real estate agents in Westchester magazine in 2025.
In a social media post, Houlihan Lawrence CEO Elizabeth Nunan said Caiola's "decision to return speaks volumes about the strength of our company culture."
"I'm so proud to be working with Vinny again," Nunan said on LinkedIn. "His integrity, talent and dedication to his clients are what sets him apart."
Caiola returns to Houlihan Lawrence at a time when homebuying competition in Westchester County is heating up. The median home sales price for single-family homes in the county grew 5.7% year over year to $950,000 in the second quarter, according to the latest tally from Compass.
Caiola said he returned to Houlihan Lawrence in part because of its "agent-first philosophy."
"It feels like coming home," he said in a statement. "What sets Houlihan Lawrence apart is the caliber of leadership, the deep-rooted collaboration among agents and the tools and support that empower us to serve clients at the highest level."
