Hey, we’re Ian and Sean—born and raised right here in Fort Collins and now helping people all over Northern Colorado buy, sell, and invest in real estate. We’re proud locals with deep roots in this community, and we know how special it is to live here. That’s why we’re passionate about helping others feel at home in a place we’ve always called home.

Our paths into real estate weren’t traditional—Sean spent years in construction, finance, and guiding rafting trips, while Ian worked in kitchens across the country and even on cruise ships. But those experiences taught us the value of hard work, staying calm under pressure, and showing up for people. When we finally landed in real estate, it just clicked. We realized we could combine everything we care about—people, community, and a no-BS approach—to build something different.

The Barefoot Team is all about keeping things real and relaxed. No suits. No hard sell. Just two locals who know the market, care about our clients, and want to make real estate feel less overwhelming and more human. We do everything as a team—every client gets both of us, and we’ve built our business around trust, balance, and showing up with consistency and care. This unique team approach allows us to alternate taking weekends off and allows us to make use of our “intangible benefits package” – the access to the Colorado outdoors, while ensuring that all of our clients have 24/7 coverage from someone who deeply cares about them.

Giving back is a big part of our mission, too. We donate a portion of every commission to local nonprofits and conservation efforts because this community has given us so much—and we’re always looking for ways to pay it forward.
