Beatrix Whipple was everything we hoped for in a real estate agent. She was organized, responsive, informative, and well-known in the industry. Her positive, pragmatic attitude made her a central part of our homebuying decision. She was on top of what was available in the market and was always willing to give her honest opinion. She would help us plan multiple open house visits over the weekend and came prepared to provide background and pro/cons of each home. Additionally, she would go visit homes during the week when we couldn’t and record a video walk through for us to see. At the end of the day, we wouldn’t have gotten the home we did without Beatrix.

We relocated from Northern California to Long Beach at the height of a real estate boom, and couldn’t imagine how we were going to find a house that met our long list of requirements in such a tight housing market. Beatrix made it possible.

From the start, Beatrix and her team did a lot of leg work to make it possible for us to understand the Long Beach housing market better and “see” houses, even though we weren’t physically there for our housing search. Beatrix put together a handy guide to the key neighborhoods we were considering, and spent a day showing us around town when we came in town to visit.

She and her team visited all the houses that we were interested in and sent us detailed video tours, which were tremendously helpful. We were able to go back over the videos and look at details that we would have missed from a quick walkthrough on our own.

When it came time to make an offer, it became clear that it’s not just about great customer experience, she also brings deep expertise as a realtor and negotiator and a strong network in Southern California.

Most critically, she is well connected with the other realtors in region, and those relationships came in handy when we needed to understand where we stood in a competitive bidding situation. She had a really smart strategy for how we should approach our bidding process. And it worked! We got our dream house in our dream neighborhood in the tightest market we could imagine. When it came time to list our Downtown Long Beach loft, we knew exactly who we wanted to list our property, and I’ll tell you why.

During our years living in Long Beach, we have received marketing material from many realty agencies/brokers, but the ones from the Whipple Group stood out in terms of their eye-catching photography, art work and well-designed layout, an indication they had a put lot of hard work and pride behind their effort. With me being a data geek, it was my impression that their mailers containing sales or interest rate data demonstrated they had a keen awareness of market trends.

In our initial discussions, Beatrix immediately understood our specific timeframe and price needs and she developed a targeted sales strategy to best serve those.

I discovered quickly I was in excellent hands when Beatrix introduced me to Sally, the Marketing Director. Every aspect of their marketing impressed me, from stunning photographs, to beautiful brochures, to a property description that made me smile like a proud dad. All that coupled with a website I find to be quite aesthetically pleasing, almost Zen-like in its presentation. Check it out when you get the chance, it avoids the in-your-face approach that too many “marketeers” lean on. The Whipple Group website feels like the online equivalent of a fine art book, and it’s a sensory delight to flip through their featured listings.

Other realtors on staff, Ashley and Caroline, provided assistance so there was never any gap in support. As a team, the Whipple Group made certain to maximize initial interest on listing service websites and drive foot traffic. It took no time at all before I had multiple offers in hand and a deal was consummated in quick order. Needless to say, we were very satisfied with the entire experience. I would not hesitate to hire Beatrix and her team again - they were amazing.

Where to start? Our wonderful friend Sally who is the Marketing Director at the Whipple Group (she creates all the awesome goodies you get) came to us in the summer of 2019 and said “want to buy a house?”. We explained to her that obviously we would love to someday, but we didn’t have $100k to throw down as a down payment on a place that would be the same amount we were paying for rent. She told us that we had to meet her boss, Beatrix. A week later, my fiancé and I walked into Beatrix’s stunning, sunny, plant filled office and walked out with so much hope. Who knew you could buy a house with only 3.5% down?! We didn’t. After doing the math and realizing that in the past 5 years alone we had spent around $160k on rent that wasn’t an investment to ourselves, we were determined to buy. The process was crazy. We saw our first place, put in an offer, thought we got it and lost it. We went through that process fifteen? more times and the sixteenth? one was the charm! Beatrix was amazing through the entire process. She fought for us, gave us her honest opinions, and was always available. Sally was the guiding force we needed and always there for my silly questions. Even though we barely worked with Jenn she took our photos and made our offer letter even more personal, when she could have just sent it as is. We cannot wait to make our place ours, and can’t wait to use the Whipple Group again when we’re ready to buy our forever home. We have recommended The Whipple Group to our whole friend group, but we hope this sells you on them as well!

What can we say? We have known Beatrix for years and stopped and started selling our house numerous times over those years. Beatrix was always there for us even with our ever-changing minds. When it came down to it, oh boy, did she act fast. She showed us approximately 10 homes over the course of 3 days, acted fast to get an offer in on our dream home, and navigated us through the whole process. She got our current home on the market within days of our offer being accepted on our new home and had it sold within 3 weeks. I am a very particular person with a strong attention to detail (to the point of being annoying) and Beatrix was patient and helpful all throughout the process (She even fostered a dog we found). Ok. Let me just say this. Beatrix Whipple and her entire team are hands down the best out there. I’ve know Beatrix for over 12 years. In 2007-2008, she helped me locate and buy my condo in Hawthorne. Our timing was impeccable. She helped us pay bottom dollar for a highly desirable location. We kept in contact up until today. Fast forward 12 years from 2008, it was time to sell my place as I have moved to NC. I knew she would be the only realtor I would call. She and her team did all the leg work getting my place ready to sell. I was 3,000 miles away and they got all the prep work done. New paint, cleaning, repairs, staging, everything! With Covid I didn’t want to travel back to CA to help prep my place for sale. They owned it! They exceeded expectations. They made it so easy! Now I’m under contract to buy a new home in NC. I just wish Beatrix and her team could have represented me here. I probably would have gotten a better deal. The Whipple Group is so dedicated, educated, knowledgeable and friendly. Best group I’ve worked with in any industry. But when it comes to buying or selling a home, those qualities mean more than anything! For most people, a home is most likely the biggest investment you will make. Get it for bottom dollar and sell it for top dollar!

Beatrix helped to sell my first home! I found her and her team by looking at active listings in my area, and I was impressed by her body of work, so I reached out for a consultation.

During our meeting, I was impressed by Beatrix’s overall presentation, impressive marketing plan, and thorough understanding of real estate market in my area. During the pre-listing stage, I truly enjoyed working with Sally, the Marketing Director, who was quarterbacking the marketing initiatives. Our premier open house weekend was canceled due to Covid 19, but that did not slow us down! We opened escrow within one week of going live and closed for $17k over asking. Beatrix effectively managed the closing process and minor speed bumps along the way, and we were able to close escrow early!

We were looking to sell our townhome in Carson, CA so we could purchase a new home in Lake Forest, CA! We had previously worked with Will Hainlen and had a very enjoyable experience, so we reached out to him when it came time!

From the very beginning of the process it was clear they are a well oiled machine at the Whipple Group!

A few days after reaching out to Will, he came over with a professional photographer for listing photos, we were on the market within a week, had ONE open house, and got an offer the next week!

From the start - all the way to signing our closing escrow docs - everyone on the team was professional, knowledgeable and willing to help whenever we needed it.

I found Beatrix and her group after doing in-depth research on Long Beach brokers. I reached out to her via her website and was treated super professionally from the first call all the way to closing. Our situation was very unique since we were in Seattle (still are) and only came down once to view homes with Beatrix. She gave us an awesome tour of Long Beach and showed us homes that fit us really well. After the tour little did she know she would be the person we would rely on to pick our house since we ended up purchasing it based on the video she sent us and her professional opinion!

The fact we felt comfortable making that decision tells you how highly we think of Beatrix. Upon returning to Seattle, she proactively asked us to send her addresses to listings we liked for her to take videos of and reported back her thoughts. We thought at some point she'd get tired of us but Beatrix's dedication, perseverance, and understanding set her in a class apart. Beatrix was always available via text, email, or phone and always made sure to keep us in the loop. She also provided us with lists of contractors, pre-schools, and her invaluable local knowledge that was literally priceless.

Beatrix and her team are true local experts and pros that know what they are doing and have their clients best interest at heart. They do a ton of deals and have years of experience which is really important since they have their fingers on the pulse of the market. Beatrix and the Whipple Group have been absolutely amazing. My wife and I currently reside in Seattle, WA and we were looking for a home in Long Beach. We approached Beatrix, letting her know of our situation and how we would love to find a home in the area. Right off the bat Beatrix established an open line of communication, kept us informed of the latest listings, and not only went to showings for us-but took video tours showing us every nook and cranny (all while we were in Seattle). I am excited to say that I just closed and received the keys to my very first house! I was referred to Beatrix Whipple through a close friend and calling her was the smartest decision I have ever made! Beatrix looked at more houses then I can count with us always giving her honest and professional opinion and when we would make changes to our "must have" list she listened, adjusted, and moved on. She is professional, efficient, personable, and absolutely wonderful! You would think that we were her only clients because of the attention and dedication she has for all of her clients. When we finally found "the one" this woman moved into action scheduling appraisals, inspections, roofers, negotiating constantly, and putting out fires. Her communication skills are outstanding, and we always had status updates, questions always answered in a timely manner and just in general she knows how to smooth over any situation and keep her clients out of the small drama that I'm sure most house deals have. The only thing Beatrix can be accused of is doing her best to sell your property if she is your listing agent , and helping you purchase a property if she is your real estate agent when you are ready to purchase a home. She will give you her honest opinion about the market as it is currently , do her best to get you top dollar for your listing and negotiate to get you the best price. She is very professional and courteous . I have had a great experience with her as a realtor and she even offered to negotiate a rental for me before I was ready to purchase. I have recommended her to multiple friends and all have had great experiences.
