About Blake

Originally from Roanoke, Virginia, Blake Benfield grew up riding horses and enjoying lake living on Smith Mountain Lake. She started her real estate career in new construction in 2001. As project and closing coordinator, Blake worked directly with buyers and sales teams drawing up plans, aiding in the permitting process, meeting with clients to discuss design choices, working on pre-punch list items and closing coordination. Her organizational skills became her prized asset.

In 2003, it was time to spearhead a career selling real estate. Blake became a licensed broker and landed with a leading real estate company. There, she gained experience across all types of real estate transactions including single-family homes, condominiums, townhomes, multi-family homes, lots and more. In a decade, Blake had quickly built a career and a reputation as hardworking, dedicated and a great listener. Her approachable demeanor always makes everyone feel comfortable.

In 2013, Blake joined a new franchise brand that joined the existing brands and affiliate networks of two major real estate companies. At Premier Sotheby's International Realty, Blake leverages her intimate knowledge of the nuances of the many pockets that comprise Charlotte's diverse neighborhoods where she both worked and lived in the past 10 years. These areas include Plaza Midwood, Dilworth, South End, NoDa, Elizabeth, Uptown, Myers Park, Eastover and South Park.

Blake currently lives in south Charlotte with her son Peirce and sweet lab-mix, Buddy. Blake's professional adage is that her clients' goals become her goals with customer service as a top priority. It is also essential everyone involved in a transaction is united and feels comfortable throughout the process. Blake is always honest, upfront, and hardworking, making sure that all parties are satisfied by the end result and avoiding any bumps along the road.

Known for her smooth transactions, Blake routinely unites all sides of the real estate process, creating a seamless operation for her customers. She is approachable and adaptive, working well with all personality types. Blake is a licensed broker in both North and South Carolina. She also holds a degree in corporate communications from Elon University.
