Cooper Thayer

Cooper is a real estate broker and emerging leader in the Colorado real estate industry. He joined The Thayer Group full-time in 2022 as a Broker Associate. Cooper is passionate about providing his clients with world-class representation, as well as serving the real estate community as a market statistics expert and legislative advocate. He is highly involved in the Colorado real estate industry, currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Denver Metro Association of REALTORS® (DMAR). Cooper also holds a variety of roles at the Colorado Association of REALTORS® (CAR), applying his expertise in real estate market analysis and legislative and political advocacy. He is currently the Market Spokesperson for Denver and Douglas Counties, a member of the Legislative Policy Committee (LPC), and a member of the CAR Political Action Committee (CARPAC).

Cooper has been featured as a keynote speaker at events such as the Colorado Association of REALTORS® Economic Summit and the Colorado Association Tax Appraisers Annual Conference. He also regularly provides key insights to legislative decision-makers on real estate issues, presenting to task forces and testifying in legislative committees at the State Capitol. His market analysis is regularly featured in publications such as The Denver Post, Denver Business Journal, ABC Denver 7, The Colorado Sun, and more.

Outside of work, Cooper enjoys playing squash, golf, photography, and watching Jeopardy! with friends.
