Daniel Chowen

Daniel moved to Durango in 1985. He is a graduate of Durango High School and an alumni of Fort Lewis College where he earned his Bachelor Degrees in both English and Art. He began working at Coldwell Banker in 2000.

Daniel is an experienced Realtor with extensive knowledge of Durango and the surrounding areas and works with Sellers and Buyers in a range of real estate transactions from residential, commercial, land, ranches to investment properties. Daniel specializes in relocating new residents, first-time Buyers, long-time property owners looking to sell for the most value possible, and both vacant land and commercial sales. Correspondence and active communication are what he provides his clients giving them the best opportunity to view new listings, capture active Buyers for their listing, and reassurance that every aspect of their real estate transaction is covered as quickly as possible. He has been a consistent top producer at Coldwell Banker, works hard for his customers and has built long lasting relationships with his clients. He has the education and knowledge to help you with any of your real estate needs.

Outside of real estate, Daniel is a Volunteer Firefighter and EMT for the Durango Fire Department. He loves the outdoors and is an avid runner, photographer, enjoys snowboarding, hiking, going to independent movie festivals and spending time doing all of this with his wife, Heidi, and their two daughters, Adwyn and Jolie.
