Dean Mandile

Born and raised in Los Angeles, but having spent many years living abroad, Dean Mandile strikes the balance between world traveler and deeply rooted Los Angeles native. After graduating from The Buckley School in Sherman Oaks as a lifer (attending all years K-12), he earned his Bachelors in Economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder. From there, Dean set out to experience other cultures, continuing his education at Webster University in London, where he achieved his MBA in Business Management and Leadership. He then spent several years at premier London wealth management firm, Inflection Point Limited, where he ran a culturally diverse team with members from Brazil, China and Sweden, managing properties in Thailand. Dean also spent significant time living in Thailand and India, selling residential and commercial real estate and consulting.

Dean returned home to Los Angeles in 2014 and immediately began working towards becoming a licensed agent training under his father, Drew Mandile, and partner, Brooke Knapp, under the team Mandile-Knapp Real Estate Group. He has been using the deeper appreciation for geographical diversity developed during his travels to better understand the differentiating aspects of each of Los Angeles’ unique neighborhoods, becoming intimately familiar with the residential real estate market. In his first year as a licensed agent (2015), Dean was involved in over $100M in transaction value, including the $33Msale of the iconic Hummingbird Nest Ranch. Dean has continued to build on his successful entry into the Los Angeles real estate market.
