Dorrinda O’keefe Shea is the most competent, considerate, knowledgeable, kind, and friendly real estate agent I have ever known.

My husband and I wanted to find a house fairly quickly, but we also didn’t want to make a mistake and buy the wrong place.
We weren’t very familiar with the area. But that didn’t matter, because Dorrinda knew all the area towns like the back of her hand!

She told us which ones to avoid and which ones she thought would most suit our needs. She noted how far the grocery store was from each house and where we might take hikes.

What was most impressive to us is that she never tried to talk us into buying a particular house, and she discouraged us from some houses that looked good on paper but would have been a money pit.

We likely would not have noticed these problems. But Dorrinda walks into a house and sees everything. She has an eagle eye and will tell you that there’s a tiny leak in the bathroom, that a propane tank is too old, or that the house isn’t well maintained because plants are growing in the gutter. Or there are water issues because she can see moss at the end of the driveway, or that she thinks the leach field has issues.

Having such a trustworthy real estate agent was priceless. We stopped worrying because we knew she has our best interests at heart.

When we looked online and saw the house we thought might just be “the one," she had just shown us several houses that morning.

Yet, hearing the enthusiasm in our voices, she called the listing agent and arranged for us to see it an hour after we contacted her. Then she literally drove through a hail storm to get there.

The house turned out to be the one we bought. She had gotten to know us well enough that she knew which room I wanted as an office! And she pointed out some minor issues she thought the owner would be willing to take care of, and the owner did.

What more could you ask for in a real estate agent?

Well, there IS more! She has given us long lists of vendors, advised us about where to get a good meal, how to get the electricity and trash pickup set up, and even offered to check on the house while we were packing up in another state. These are only a few of the “beyond the call of duty” things that Dorrinda offers. It wasn’t, “thanks for the commission, see ya.” It was more like, welcome to the area and I hope to see you soon!

Dorrinda works very, very hard and obviously loves what she does. She is friendly and professional with everyone she meets, has a wonderful sense of humor, and is very responsive to phone calls, emails, and texts.

It would be hard for me to imagine a better real estate agent. I can’t recommend Dorrina enough!

Dorrinda was the realtor for an elderly couple who are friends of mine; because of a bit of a language barrier, they asked for my help. The house included a small apartment occupied by a tenant who just would not leave until evicted, so this sale was a very long process.
