First, she paired us up with a fantastic lender, Hillhurst Mortgage, who understood our goals and budget range. Then she set up a search and she very keenly researched each of the properties we were interested in and set up days for us to see as many as possible. After seeing all the homes in our range we zeroed in on one and she negotiated a very fair price for a completely turnkey home! We feel so lucky! When I began the home buying process for the first time, I felt half hopeful and half like a deer in headlights. I heard that finding the right realtor was essential to making the whole process go smoothly. After interviewing three different people, I was completely won over by Emily’s warm personality and genuine interest in getting to know me and my needs. I knew that however long the process took, I would enjoy spending time with her and could trust her guidance. I appreciated Emily’s advice pre-home tours to help me narrow down my selections, and her feedback during viewings about whether she thought each property was a good find for my price range and needs. After some showings with other realtors who we were not impressed with we were encouraged to meet with Emily from a friend. And we were so happy that we did. From the moment we met, Emily demonstrated candor, professionalism and knowledge—all with great style and a sense of humor!

Emily represented us in several offers and ultimately wrote the offer that landed us our dream home. As first-time home buyers the learning curve was steep, but Emily answered questions both simple and complex. When she didn’t know an answer she got an expert on the phone to explain in more detail. (Even at 10pm on a Tuesday night!) Emily was there at every moment and responded in a timely manner. She helped us line-up inspections, interpret reports, negotiate prices and close deals. We feel lucky that we found our home in our desired area for an affordable price amid a seller’s market. Emily was a major part of making that happen. We now count her as a friend who helped us get our dream house. We also felt confident knowing that we had the resources and support of ACME boutique agency. I knew from our first Zoom chat that Emily was going to find us our house, and she did! She's thorough, a great listener, and so quick to respond. It was mine and my husband's first home buying experience, and Emily held our hands through each and every step. She was especially great at helping us understand how to buy in the ridiculously hot Los Angeles real estate market and in the middle of a pandemic that's made home buying even more complicated.
