Felipe Crook is a broker-salesman who has been licensed since 2003. He originally moved to Las Vegas as one of the original cast At 24, I moved to Las Vegas to open the original cast of Mamma Mia! The Musical at the Mandalay Bay. Performing for over a million people was an incredible experience, but it was a bad real estate deal that changed the trajectory of my career forever.
After reading Robert Kiyosaki's Rich Dad, Poor Dad, I decided to buy my first investment property. The agent I worked with gave me terrible advice, pressured me into a bad purchase, and disappeared after closing. I felt taken advantage of, and I vowed that no client of mine would ever feel that way.
I got my real estate license in 2003 and built my business on one principle: I treat my clients' money like it's my own. I tell them the pros and the cons. Sometimes I lose a sale because of my honesty, but I'd rather be honest than have someone feel the way I felt.
