Ilya Tsipis

Ilya Tsipis has been instrumental in expanding Fair Realty’s influence and has multiplied its sales year after year since taking over for his father, who founded the company in 2007. His team of professionals, which he is steadily expanding, is rooted in thoughtful, all-inclusive service and sustained by a stream of referrals. Ilya’s dedication to client satisfaction, experience with a wide range of property assets, and joy for every aspect of the industry make him a remarkable real estate ally. He enjoys seeing other people succeed — and even more so when he and the Fair Realty team help them do it. Whether through his guidance, coaching, or simply lending an ear, Ilya happily lives and breathes this business.
Originally from Odesa, Ukraine, Ilya has lived in Los Angeles since 1992. He graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a bachelor’s degree in economics and management. During his studies, he began working for lender IndyMac Bank and for the mortgage company Qualify America, absorbing the intricacies of the lending process and client relations. Ilya later transitioned to Ayco, a Goldman Sachs company, as a financial analyst, where he joined some of the brightest economic intellects and salespeople. Inspired by his experiences in other positions, Ilya has refined skills that benefit his real estate clients.
Ilya obtained his real estate salesperson’s license in 2009, coinciding with his role at a private property and financial management firm. While handling exclusive properties and connecting with top real estate professionals, his passion for the industry grew.
Ilya earned his broker license in 2017 and took the lead at Fair Realty. He has since enhanced his experience and knowledge through his enthusiasm and by helping clients — English- and Russian-speaking alike — achieve their goals in varying capacities. Under his leadership, Fair Realty’s sales volume has increased more than 550%, and the team has served more than 120 happy homeowners.
Besides real estate, Ilya’s primary focus is on his family, and he does his best to balance his busy schedule by spending time with his wife and their two young children. They all love to travel and often explore the area’s parks, beaches, and hiking trails together. Ilya is a huge sports fan (Go Clippers!) and a three-time fantasy football champion. He also contributes to various organizations and causes when he can, with his most important current mission to support Ukraine and Ukrainian refugees.
