Jim Gilb

Jim began working in the investment real estate brokerage business in 1988 and has concentrated on the multifamily discipline for over 35 years. He started his career at what is now CB Richard Ellis as a member of their Multifamily Transactional Services Team. In 1998 he joined a boutique firm in West Los Angeles, Miller & Desatnik, a top Multifamily brokerage focused on all aspects of apartment building sales. In 2022, Jim joined Lee & Associates Investment Services Group. Throughout the course of his career, Jim has developed expertise in the City of Los Angeles Rent Stabilization Ordinance and California Rent Control statues. He has a thorough understanding of infill zoning and development related matters in Los Angeles. He has been involved in hundreds of multi-family / land for development exclusive listing assignments and represented well over 300 transaction sides to successful completion, representing hundreds of millions of dollars in total consideration. Jim considers himself a coach as much as anything else and is committed to helping his clients build wealth with his excellent transaction management skills. Jim has worked with private investors, syndicators, developers, lenders, and insurance company clients.
