Man, where do i start from the start of the house buying process till the end it was the most seamless process. If I could compare this experience with Jay in terms of service, this is THE luxury service when it comes to the home buying process. Jay was knowledgeable, he educated me on the home the value the market and at all times had my best interest at heart, he handled everything from contacting the inspector, making contacts with the seller, and coordinating essentially everything. Jay, the man! When originally researching realtors I was looking for an experienced agent that understood the Orlando area well. During my initial research, I came across Jay’s profile and customer reviews. It was very clear that Jay’s clients were overly impressed with his services from start to finish (seriously, I had never seen a realtor with so many lengthy positive reviews from clients!).

As an out of state, and first time home-buyer, Jay provided the additional support I needed from the very beginning to the end. On our initial call Jay asked “What are you looking for in a realtor?” I explained that I needed someone that could move quickly on a transaction, and someone that had stellar response time. Jay has exceeded my expectations in that department over and over again.

Additionally, as a first time home-buyer, the purchasing process was not entirely what I had expected. Jay wasn’t just our realtor, he was our coach and mentor throughout the entire process. From the very beginning, he made sure we understood each step of the home buying process and what we should expect moving forward. He walked us through inspection reports, contract contingencies, contract addendums, closing day adjustments, and termite bond policies. When we first started the home buying journey we were adamant about what we wanted and even though it was a very tumultuous market, Jay remained a patient and steady presence throughout the entire process. He listened to our concerns and helped us to locate the right opportunities.

If you have ever purchased a property before, you know how stressful the process can turn out to be, right? Wrong. Not if Jay Patterson is your Realtor! He is reliable, dependable, and circles back almost instantly. Honestly, it feels like you are his only client.
Jay will not just go find properties that you might be interested in. He will sit down with you and have a long talk, and drill down to understand your needs and what you are looking for. If down the road he feels you are veering off, he will sit down with you again to understand why you are now interested in two-story 2/2s when originally your focus was one-story 3/2s.
When he comes back with an appointment for a property you want to see, rest assured he will also have answers to more questions that you would have thought of. Think you are ready to put an offer on a property? That's when Jay will brainstorm with you to make sure that's what you want and that you will be happy in case your offer is accepted. Once you have a contract in place, he will not only guide you through the entire process but he will also be personally there for your home inspection and report back to you even before the Inspector. I truly just can't say enough about Jay and how pleased I am with his services.

Jay "The Chocolate Realtor" Patterson! What more to say than to describe who he is: consummate professional, level-headed, hard-working, tireless, non-stop energy, patient, kind, calm, knowledgeable, helpful, good communicator, responsive, and always going above and beyond. You could run out of superlatives to describe this man, because he is really just that damn good.

This townhome is my wife and I's first investment property, but this was not our first realtor experience as we purchased our primary home 3 years ago. I could not begin to describe what a stark difference it was to see what a difference a good realtor makes. Lucky for us, we didn't get a "good" realtor, we flat out got the best one. Jay goes above and beyond to make you comfortable. He is very knowledgeable, but if he does not know the answer he finds out promptly. He stays on top of the title company, the other realtor, the HOA, the inspection process, and the broker--all to make sure the sale goes smoothly. In our case, there were some bumps in the road, and he helped us navigate them with patience and skill.

This deal would not have come together without Jay. Not only was he knowledgeable about the buying process, but he had great tips on finding a good investment opportunity and how to capitalize on our investment. No matter what you need, Jay has "a guy" and can always find you the help you need without you having to do a single thing. With us having a newborn at home, Jay even carried the baby so we could inspect the property. Who else do you know that will do it all for you to succeed?

Jay and I hit it off great, he was very patient with me as you can imagine moving across the country, selling my home, spouse being deathly ill with COVID in the middle, and in this market, it was crazy.
