About Jon
Well, thanks for stumbling onto this page! My name is Jon Schaefer, locally in Denver with Thrive Real Estate Group. I got into this business for one simple reason: to help make one of the most complicated and stressful processes someone can go through, as simple and clear as possible.
After a few years in the streaming and entertainment world (we can chat about it during our showings), I realized what I really enjoyed most was talking with people. I actually created a weekly mental health segment on my stream so I could learn more about people, work to better understand them, and ask questions that allowed them to better understand themselves.
That curiosity only grew from there, as I became certified as a mediator and relationship coach before jumping into real estate. Random, right? Not really. Nobody likes a "pushy" realtor, and the goal of a mediator and coach is the exact opposite of pushy. The goal is to educate and inform you on all of your potential options, and their risks and benefits, so that you are able to make the best choice for yourself. Yes, even if that means you don't buy or sell right now. Crazy, right? It's that level of care and commitment to my clients that led to me moving 30 groups of people in and out of homes in a little over my first year. One of the best parts? My clients saved an average of $35,000+ per transaction.
How? By focusing on smart negotiation, clear communication, and a step-by-step process that keeps your needs at the center of everything.
Enough "business talk". When I’m not working you’ll probably find me training in Brazilian jiu jitsu (purple belt, if that matters), working out, making real estate videos, or exploring some of the more hidden spots around Denver with my lovely lady. While we don't have kids, we do find ourselves wrangling our 3 cats: Luna, Wonder Bread, and Puppies, and 1 dog: George.
