Matthew Ides

Matthew is an accomplished leader in the field of community development with special emphasis in housing and has been working in the real estate field for the past 20 years. He has experience managing several government grants and contracts that include Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) and other nonprofit and public funds. As a private consultant, Matthew is currently working with the City of Minneapolis implementing a new project for CPED while working as a real estate consultant on residential and commercial projects. Most recently, Matthew has worked in North Minneapolis around commercial revitalization and housing strategies. Matthew graduated from the University of California at Berkeley and received his Masters Degree in Urban Planning from the City University of New York at Hunter College. Matthew lives in South Minneapolis and continues to be an active real estate agent and consultant to the larger Minneapolis community and across the metropolitan area. He has vast experience providing his services to home buyers and sellers, investors, and the purchase and rehabilitation of single and multi-family properties.
