About Mercedes

My background is in Marine biology. I studied sharks at the Center for Shark Research and taught scuba diving for several years prior to moving back home to central Mississippi where I was born and raised. I’ve been a NAUI certified scuba instructor since college and have had the pleasure of teaching over the years sharing my love of the oceans and sharks! While I no longer handle live sharks for a living, I’m happy to help you navigate the landshark feeding frenzy of the real estate world. As a Realtor, I understand that buying or selling a home is more than just a transaction: it’s a life-changing experience! To me, home sales/purchases are like shark encounters – very unique! A home transaction is rare for most of us in that it is the largest purchase or sale of our lifetimes!! Similarly, for most of us, shark encounters are rare.
