Personal Background

Born in Canada, Michael moved to the United States in 1982 after several years in Israel where he served in the Israel Defense Forces and was a founding member of Kibbutz Ketura in Israel's southern desert area. Married to his wife Laurie, who is also a realtor, since 1987 they have four children - one son and three daughters, and two granddaughters.
