Michelle helped us buy our house, so who else would we call (7 years later) when we had to sel? She guided us through the process, managed our expectations very diplomatically and got us a quick sale above asking! Through the whole process Michelle was on top of every detail and kept us updated with progress on every front, this made what could have been an extremely stressful situation much easier for us and we definitely appreciate all her hard work on our behalf.

I met Michelle in 2019. We were at a housewarming party of one of my good friends for a home that her team helped her find (her 1st home). Michelle introduced me to her associate and together they helped me overcome my fear of the process of purchasing a home. They looked at my financials and shepherd me for the next 4 years to get my debt down (I was almost at $30,000 in debt), my savings up and my credit score stellar. I was held accountable monthly (to report in on my debt reduction progress) the first year as I wanted to show them, I was serious. Fast forward to 2022, my debt % is 14% and I got the call encouraging me to begin the process.

Michelle is patience, she is very knowledgeable about the process and makes sure you are aware and educated regarding each step (and there are many). I was also impressed by the fact that she stayed committed joining and supporting my dream to own a home considering I was not in the market for a home at the time. And lastly, when it came time for me to find a home, the process was so easy, I couldn't believe how seemingly effortless it was. BUT I WAS PREPARED :o) I also appreciate that no matter how much I was approved for, she kept my monthly payment in mind.

My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Michelle on getting one of our apartments leased in a Duplex. We were not having any luck finding the right tenant. Michelle came in and assessed the space, gave advice on changes we could make to be more marketable, and used her experience and attention to detail to get our space rented out with the RIGHT tenant. TLDR: Working with Michelle Colbert was the best decision we’ve ever made! We will be forever grateful for her help through this process!

We worked with Michelle Colbert to buy a home in Gardena, CA, and she was outstanding! It was not an easy search. We had budget constraints, a limited area we were searching in, it was a hyper sellers market, and COVID-19 restrictions added layers of complexity to coordinating schedules and house viewings. Yet in the six months of working together, Michelle remained patient, strategic, and optimistic. Even when we got anxious, lost hope, or lost sight of exactly what we were looking for Michelle remained “cool as a cucumber.”

We had the opportunity to meet several sellers’ realtors through this process, and unfortunately, not all of them were as amazing as Michelle. A few were even unprofessional, but Michelle never missed a beat!

Whenever we were interested in a home, she was thoughtful about how we should approach making an offer based on all of the other variables at play: what the sellers’ interests might be, how many potential buyers were in the mix, how the property and area aligned with what we’d shared about what we were looking for, and of course, area comps. Because of COVID restrictions, our very involved and inquisitive 8-year-old daughter was with us every step of the way, and Michelle was awesome about showing her around and explaining things to her as well. Our daughter felt so welcomed into the process that she deemed herself “Michelle’s youngest client”...no doubt she’d work with her again too!!

Once under contract, Michelle also leveraged her vast network of professional contacts to help us secure inspections, loans, quotes, and other services on a short timeline. Throughout these interactions, it was clear that all of these professionals thought as highly of Michelle as we did!

We found Michelle through another family who worked with her, and we would enthusiastically recommend her to our family and friends as well!
