Mollie Beck

Mollie J. Bennet Beck is a California native who was raised in the San Gabriel Valley community of Sierra Madre. She attended Alverno High School in Sierra Madre, Pasadena City College, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and Cal State Long Beach. Mollie obtained her Emergency Medical Technician certification from Glendale Community College and completed the Police Reserve Academy at Rio Hondo College so she could volunteer as a Reserve Police Officer for the City of Sierra Madre. She came to Long Beach to continue her career in Workers' Compensation claims for the City Attorney's Office in the early 1980's and purchased her first home in Belmont Heights later that decade. Mollie subsequently held jobs in the insurance industry and chose to leave the corporate world to concentrate on Larry's thriving real estate practice in 1998, obtaining her real estate license in 2002. She also completed the Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) training though the California Southern Cities Apartment Association in 2000.
