I was in need of a house that would be handicap accessible and Richard went above and beyond the call for me at every turn! When we would view properties (we looked a A LOT of them!) Richard would pull a ramp out of my van and set it up for me so I could get my wheelchair inside each property we looked at. If necessary he would even move furniture so I could see the whole house! When I texted or called him to set up an appointment for viewing a house Richard, without fail, would promptly return my call or message and would set up the appointment within the day! It was extremely rare for Richard to not get back to me immediately after contacting him and I really appreciated that level of customer service. Not only was Richard responsive to my calls, he was all over coordinating appointments for loans, inspections, etc. and all of the other details that need attention to movea transaction along. Unfortunately, and for reasons beyond either mine or Richards control, we did not complete a transaction, but I can honestly say that if there were an award for hardest working man in real estate Richard would get my vote! My wife and I were looking for a home for a few months and did not come across anything that we would like to purchase. One day, we met Richard Gardow at an open house. Within 10 minutes of him te lling us what he can offer, we knew he was more knowledgeable than our two previous realtors. We decided to see if Richard can help us find a home. During the same week, Richard got us into contact with a different lender who gave me a $10,000 grant and a higher approval rating for a home loan! Plus, the lender managed to get us the loan with a ZERO DOWN PAYMENT! That same weekend, Richard called my wife and I to his open house. Richard was sure we'd love it and he was right! We met Richard Gardow at one of his open houses and within 15 minutes of talking with us he new exactly what we needed. He showed us a property after the open house and we made an immediate offer. Our offer was accepted and Richard and his wife Cindy worked seamlessly as a team to guide us through the purchasing process, including negotiations with the seller and assistance with a qualified local home inspection company and pest inspection company, somehow doing so while always working around our schedule. They referred us to a local mortgage company and title company, both of which actually made the last steps of the home-buying process quite pleasant. When we had questions, we never waited more than a few minutes for either Richard or Cindy to answer our questions with honesty and integrity. Over our life time we have bought and sold 7 houses prior to this, but this purchase was by far the smoothest. We highly recommend the Gardow team to anyone interested in a home purchase. I highly recommend Richard Gardow, as well as the rest of the Gardow Group which consists of his wife Cindy and his daughter April. I first met Richard early in 2016, and it immediately became evident that Richard was the hardest working real estate agent we have ever dealt with. Richard is extremely motivated, has an impressive knowledge of the market, and will literally make himself available 24/7 to handle all of your home buying and selling needs. My wife and I looked at numerous houses before we were able to find a home that suited us. Richard never pressured us in any way to make an offer on a property that didn't absolutely make us happy. Once we were ready to make an offer on a home, his efforts didn't stop. I definitely recommend RE/Max Real Estate Agent Richard and Cindy Gardow for all your Real Estate needs. He and his team priced our home just right. It took 21 days to find the buyer. I figure this means it wasn't priced too low or too high. He also kept us totally informed about all issues. Additionally, he answered all of our calls personally every time. When the call went to voicemail, he returned our call usually within 5 minutes. When asked he gave us his expert honest and critical advise on how we could better our chances of a smooth sale.
