About Robin
I was born in southern California but moved to Arkansas when I was eleven years old, so I am “almost” an Arkansas native. I am married with two grown daughters, and I have 4 grandchildren. Three boys and the youngest is a girl. I love animals and we have two dogs and a cat. I was an avid equestrian until just a few years ago and have owned and cared for as many as 10 horse at one time. I love four wheeling and doing just about anything in the mountains. I love the Razorback Greenway trails in NWA and regularly use them to ride my bike or walk to stay healthy.
My husband has owned his own landscaping, sprinkler installation and wholesale nursery business for over forty years. I spent the first 20 years of my career as a nurse. I left nursing to help my husband build his business. In 2013 I decided I wanted to do something different. I had exposure to new construction and remodel through the landscape business. Plus, we had built two of our own homes and “flipped” a couple of houses. A real estate broker friend encouraged me to get my real estate license, which I did in 2014. I have been with RE/MAX since 2015. Real estate was a perfect fit for me with my nursing experience, serving people of all ages and personalities along with customer service and housing experience from working in my husband’s business. RE/MAX was the perfect fit because of the high level of training and professional standards they provide. They are global but yet local and provide so much technology.
A good partnership and communication between the client and agent is a must. A real estate transaction by nature can involve a high level of stress. At times you must just believe in the person you are working with. There are agents who have been in the business longer and sell more than I do, but none that will work harder than I will for you. I am proud of my track record thus far. I strive to continue learning and get better, which is why I hold several additional designations beyond a real estate license. I am more about relationships, trust and doing things right rather than being #1 saleswoman. I believe if you get the first part right the numbers take care of themselves.
My professional designations include Certified Residential Specialist, Senior Real Estate Specialist, Graduate of the Realtor Institute, and Real Estate Negotiation Expert.
