Sally Malsch

Sally Malsch began her career as a Ph.D. academic. She was lured to the Valley from the University of Washington via the University of Regensburg to become an Asst. Professor of German at U MASS. She loved publishing and teaching, and she fell in love with Wilfried Malsch, also a professor in the same department. They married and had two children whom they raised here in Amherst.

Raising kids, she realized family is the center of her life. She gave up her tenure track position, but she also continued her studies and teaching. She acquired both a 2nd B.A. and M.A. from UMASS in Spanish, and she taught both languages for a short time at Deerfield Academy. In 1994 she made another life-altering decision to embark on the career of being a real estate agent, and for more than two decades now she has thrived in this role.

Throughout the years she has sold properties in every price range, from 100k to 1.5 million. Buyers seek her out because she leads them every step of the way through the process of purchasing a home, from financing to closing. Sellers seek her to list their homes because of her stellar track record in sales over decades and her marketing and promotional skills, including her Visual Tours.

Her education and experience come together in Sally's role as a sales agent and REALTOR ® to better serve you, the client. She continues to hone her professional skills with the acquisition of specialized certifications: CRS, Certified Residential Specialist, only 4% of Realtors Nationwide ABR, Accredited Buyer’s Agent GRI, Graduate Realtors’ Institute SRES, Seniors’ Real Estate Specialist e-PRO, NAR Certified Internet Specialist SRS, Seller Representative Specialist Member of the Professional Development/Education Committee in the RAPV (REALTOR®Association of the Pioneer Valley).

She also brings 25 years of distinguished experience to serve her clients. She helped hundreds of buyers find their home and hundreds of homeowners sell their property in the 5 College communities.
