Steve staged the house for presentation phenomenally well. He has excellent taste, and his arrangements brought out the best in the house. He also worked his tail off, including a late night stint drying out the basement after a drain failed during a heavy storm (we were away at the time). Steve fairly represented our interests and those of the buyer, who did not use an agent. He is also knowledgeable about all the diverse aspects of preparing a house for sale and acts on his know-how. We expected to sell the house for what it was worth, which was a price above what Zillow and other agents targeted, and Steve did -- and the buyer was happy too; Steve knows a lot about the valuation process and the value of homes in the neighborhood. Jean Espeland in Steve's office provided us with good support as well, including catching a $4000 mistake in the closing costs.
