The first thing you need to know about Tim is that he is a Los Angeles native and a fan of all things LA. Nothing gives him more pleasure than running into previous buyer and seller clients on the streets of his hometown and hearing how their lives have changed since he helped them move into or helped them transition out of a property.
Although Tim has been selling real estate for 15 years, his work background before real estate taught him a lot. He spent the years in a mail room, understand the value of challenging work and can probably change a water cooler bottle faster than anyone in Los Angeles. After college he cut his teeth on sales spending a year as a door-to-door air purifier salesman in Canada which was perhaps the worst job in North America. But, in his many years of real estate experience and over $350 million in transaction volume, he has realized that this job is much more than sales.
Tim takes immense pride in the relationships he builds, and his goal is to bring an unprecedented level of care to his clients. He remembers the look on the face of the first client he advised to not move forward with a transaction because of a variety of issues that we discovered with the property. "Don't you want me to buy this house, so you get the commission?" they asked. "I want you to buy the right house" was his answer then and is still his answer today. Anyone can sell a house, but it takes a certain kind of trust built to successfully lead a client through the many large and small negotiations of a transaction and actually close that transaction with your client completely satisfied.
90% of his business comes from referrals and that's because his philosophy is simple: clients come first. He pledges to be in constant communication with his clients, keeping them fully informed throughout the entire buying or selling process. He believes that if you’re not left with an amazing experience, he hasn’t done his job.
