Wendy and her husband have been married for just over twenty-six years and have two grown daughters, so they know a thing or two about working together. For years their friends and family have been urging them to share their talents, with her eye for design and Tim’s innate handiness it seemed like it was a real possibility. They finally listened and followed their dream, and thus The Happening Home came about.
They find homes in fabulous neighborhoods that are tired and ready for some new life, and they reinvent and renovate them as if they were going to be their own home. Wendy and Tim focus not only on adding detail and charm but functionality for modern-day living. They are drawn to a cozy, laid-back design that combines textures that complement one another and add visual interest, in essence, they aspire to make a hygge {cozy} home.
Wendy handles the real estate aspects and the majority of the design of the projects while Tim is on-site day in and day out managing the project, and putting in the craftsmanship and the majority of the work that makes those design ideas come to fruition. While the two of them make a good team, they couldn’t make the dream a reality without their trade partners with whom they work right alongside to make their vision a reality.
