About Zane

Zane Wells is a Durango native who has spent the majority of his life enjoying Durango’s bountiful activities and welcoming community.

Zane joined The Wells Group Durango Real Estate Brokerage in 2015 as a Broker Associate. The job he now holds at The Wells Group is Zane’s second venture in the real estate industry. Prior to his experience at The Wells Group, Zane experienced a successful career in the commercial real estate industry in Denver Colorado at Pinnacle Real Estate Advisors, LLC where he learned paramount skills and attributes to continue his success in the Durango real estate market.

Before Pinnacle, Zane pursued professional soccer after a successful collegiate career at Fort Lewis College where he graduated with a Finance and Economics degree. After his hard fought attempts, Zane decided that graduate school was the next step and traveled to Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business at University College Dublin, in Ireland where he graduated with a Master’s of Science in Project Management.

Now back in Durango where he belongs, Zane is excited to get involved with the community, spend time with his friends and family, and of course help clients and investors alike make sound investments both in residential and commercial real estate in and around Durango.
