Creighton, a neighborhood in Richmond, is undergoing significant transformation thanks to efforts by the Richmond Redevelopment & Housing Authority. Located about 3 miles northeast of downtown, Creighton is seeing the demolition of old government housing and the construction of new mixed-income units, with completion expected by Summer 2024. The area is known for its ranch-style homes, as well as two-story four-squares and Colonial-inspired houses. Despite its past challenges, Creighton is becoming more appealing, partly due to its proximity to Interstate 64, which facilitates commuting.
