At Saint Patrick School in Ada, Michigan, the foundational pillars of education are kindness, compassion, mercy, patience, gratitude, inclusion and tolerance. This modern institution has served students from kindergarten to eighth grade since 1893, providing rigorous education and traditional Catholic instruction. Students learn about the Roman Catholic faith and prepare for their academic future at Saint Patrick School. This rural Kent County school is dedicated to promoting sustainability and providing excellent programs to prepare students for their educational journey through high school and beyond. For some students at Saint Patrick, this journey starts in preschool with daily child care. The talented and licensed child care team also provides after-school care with age-appropriate activities for all grades. After preschool, students can enroll in kindergarten or sign up for the Transitional Kindergarten program, recommended for students who may need a bit more time before joining kindergarten classes. As part of the Grand Rapids Area Catholic Education Athletics Council, Saint Patrick School participates in programs approved by the Diocese of Grand Rapids. These include boys, girls and coed sports for third through eighth grade students, such as football, lacrosse, tennis, track and basketball.
