Amador has a good academic environment, but the school itself is quite old and could benefit from better facilities.

As a student, Amador Valley has been great in terms of academics and college readiness. I think that there are a lot of higher level classes offered in order to prepare students even more, and there are still opportunities to get involved outside of school. As a music major, however, I would love to see more music and classes.

Honestly I enjoyed my time at Amador I think it was a great school and allowed me to make new friends. I liked the teacher although yes some are more challenging than others, the school itself is great!

My sister goes to this school, and she gets all as but a lot of the teachers are hit or miss. Either pretty lenient or guarding the A's like the garden of eden. Amador Valley high school is wonderful school. Very diversified. Top-notched sports program , marching band, robotics, deca club.....There are 6 students entered Standford University 2023. 2 MIT.Teachers are great.Amador Valley high school is named the best school district in Tri-valley.

I'm speaking as a student for 3 years at Amador, there is much casual homophobia and racism. There is not adequate support for neurodivergent individuals.
