This public elementary school, located in the heart of South Anaheim on E. Broadway, serves approximately 1,000 students across kindergarten through the sixth grade. Abraham Lincoln Elementary School, which is part of the Anaheim Elementary School District, works to ensure that all of its students are learning in a safe and nurturing environment. The school emphasizes elements of science, technology, engineering, visual and performing arts and math (STEAM) throughout its curriculum to help ensure that young learners are building a high-quality foundation of knowledge that will enable them to thrive as they progress forward with their education. Lincoln Elementary has also adopted a family engagement policy that is designed to ensure that the family members and guardians of students are actively involved in their learning. The school also teaches students about being good digital citizens, using best practices established by Common Sense Media, an organization that is dedicated to helping children safely navigate the challenges of our increasingly digital environment. Like all of the schools in the Anaheim Elementary School District, Lincoln Elementary offers a dual language immersion program across all of its grades. At Lincoln Elementary, the dual languages are English and Spanish. The school also incorporates a district-sponsored Gifted and Talented Program that works to meet the needs of upper elementary children who show exceptional academic promise. Lincoln Elementary School also offers Anaheim Achieves after school program, which reinforces the curriculum using fun and engaging activities.
